"So glad we found Uncle Tony’s! We are in town for a conference and found reviews about the good gluten free options. Uncle Tony’s did not disappoint! The food was incredible! I could have eaten a whole bowl of the marinara sauce. I think it is the best I have ever eaten! I had the zoodles -delish- my husband had a gluten free pizza -so yummy! Our friends raved about their meals as well. Now, to convince Uncle Tony to move to Wyoming and open a restaurant ☺️"
"Where do I start? This restaurant is the BEST Italian restaurant in San Diego. We met Tony and he was just so nice and attentive. I had the Carbonara and it was the BEST I have ever had. I definitely recommend this place! GREAT service and DELICIOUS food!!!"
"I popped in to try their lunch special. I had two slices of pizza and a Pupil on tap. This IPA lover was very happy to find Societe Brewing Company in such a quaint and lovely local pizza place. The food was great. The service was wonderful. I will definitely be going back."
"Overall the food is good, BUT the portions are SMALL and prices are HIGH, too high for what you get. My family of 4 with one small appetizer, 4 average cost on the menu dinners, plus tax and tip came to $175. That's why you can't eat out very often. A $25 plate of spaghetti is just too dang much. It is very rare to see my kids clean their plates with nothing to take home. Well that's what you should expect here - no left overs - because the portions are TOO SMALL. What's with that? I ordered a side of meatballs and I'm definitely not a fan of them taste and texture wise - they reminded me of frozen Trader Joe's meatballs. The breaded eggplant parmigiana wasn't too bad, just not enough of it. My wife's thinks her clam linguini was primarily canned clams with a few actual clams in their shell on top, so expect average food here. Then on top of all that, during payment the in-your-face automatic tip calculation (a real turn-off for me) which defaults to a 20% tip, with %18 being the lowest tip showing on the card reader machine! Out of control there. Unfortunately very doubtful we'll be going back. We're going to keep looking for a replacement restaurant to our beloved Marco Italian Restaurant which closed last year."
"Delicious food. We came early, at 4 PM, on Saturday. Tony met and seated us. The salmon bruschetta and caprese salad came quickly. Excellent! Her lasagna and my Fruita di mare were the best. We'll be back ... soon!"
