"The isles are super tight. Only one cart can go down them at a time. I was hoping for more of a grocery store. It's more like a 7/11 with mostly junk food. The prices aren't any cheaper than Nob Hill, you pay a little less for smaller packages or some cases the same price for smaller packages. A less savvy shopper might not notice. I probably won't be back. It's better to drive the 25 mins to Los Banos and shop at Target or Save Mart you get better value. Sad our City management allowed another junk food store instead of a real grocery store."

"I have to say I was so excited that they were building this store. Although, I feel fairly let down by their Freezer section. I was hoping for more items from Dollar Tree that I have been familiar with in the past. Unfortunately, the fridge and freezer were stocked with more items priced from the Family Dollar. TV dinners and other pre-made meals and snacks are the main item stocked. That's not what I need or am looking for. As a residence of Newman, I find myself needing to travel to find better deals on Groceries and household items. I mostly shop in Patterson and feel I will continue to do so. l truly hoped for something different from the Dollar Generals in the area, but am disappointed to find there is not. My visits will be far and few between, that is why I chose to give three stars. It doesn't have anything I can't get somewhere else more conveniently. It might work better for others and I hope it does."
