The Sidewalk Cafe

"This is a great boardwalk restaurant, we were seated right away on a Sunday afternoon. They were busy and it took a while to get our food and drinks, but once we did everything looked and tasted delicious. I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and customized it with extra grilled onions and added mushrooms--it was amazing. The accompanying salads, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, smoothie, and drinks we had were just as tasty, and our server was awesome, so accommodating. It was good to get out of the sun, but still be able to enjoy the beach weather since it's partially open aired. So if you're hungry while visiting Venice Beach, definitely stop here for a bite over some of the overpriced stalls you may see!"

"This place is right in the middle of the Venice Boardwalk, making it a perfect place to stop and grab a bite. The outside patio has a nice viewing area of the skate park and a great place to have a drink during sunset (happy hour INSIDE the bar only) The outside is more tourist with families while the inside feels more local. Great selection of food items even smoothies. Making a great place for families or adults. Happy hour is great (clams are $10 off!!!) Pretty good beer selection along with small or large food items. Bathrooms are pretty good sized and pretty clean with a sharable sink for men and women outside in the hallway. Definitely my favorite spot to grab a drink and have a bite and just enjoy the beach feel"

"So the chili cheese fries were nostalgic. Reminds me of old school burger stand chili. 10/10 The Philly cheese steak was terrible. They should just call it a dry beef sandwich. The chicken on the bbq pizza was terrible quality and the dough was super soggy even after we sent it back to get cooked longer. The bartender was very polite and understanding. He's very honest and we appreciated that. All and all this place is 8/10 the atmosphere is chill. I'm going to check out their happy hour soon."

"I ate barbecue pizza and double meat burger. The barbecue pizza is so delicious. The dough is soft and crispy, and the toppings are not too overpowering and have a balanced taste. The double meat burger was ordinary but tasty. The salad that came with it was plentiful, fresh, and the sauce was delicious. I would like to give it 4.6 points. Perhaps because it was a winter evening, there weren't many people so it was okay. The people who serve are also friendly. This is a place I want to come back to for pizza."
