"A friend and I went for a morning hike and stopped here for a little snack. She got the gluten free blueberry muffin and I got the toast with butter and jam . The sourdough toast is impeccable. The raspberry jam was delicious."

"How many times do I need to change a review? Knocked them back to 3 stars. So expensive. A simple cold turkey on a baguette is $18 and other lunch offering even more pricy. My well over $5 oat cappuccino was a throw away. Tasted like really bad gunky milk. Zero taste of any expresso! Last time my oat cap was good, not today. Did they run out of expresso, using spoiled oak milk??? This shop can do better, be more consistent on quality and reduce their prices. ............. Have been back with much better luck. Upping to 4 stars. Be aware they are very expensive, the wait can be longer than you'd think and sometimes you don't get everything you ordered. Be sure and check! Coffee and food are very nice. ......... Maybe my bad luck. My pastry was so pretty in the shelf but the taste didn't match. The oranges on top were gristly and the entire piece lacked flavor. I could only eat half of it. I had a cold brew with a splash of oat milk which was okay, not great but certainly drinkable. May try them again. Order something else and see if I have better results. Service was fast and good."

"Merci is a fine place, quick stop and for adventurous palates. They are very unique meals, and unfortunately, mine was salty and no one asked about it. I was happy with the experience, I just expected a bit more since the place is a bit pricey. Portion is perfect, the eggs were about the best Ive had in a while. My meal was very overpowering, and salty. The reason of 4 starts, no one checked. Id come back for sure, if I am ever in the area. The ambiance is a bit loud since it’s tiny, but nothing to scare you away… go ahead and try this place, you won’t regret it."

"A beautifully designed well lit indoor outdoor coffee shop in the Montecito Country Mart. They have amazing customer service and truly good coffee. The pastries are delicious! I am giving it four stars simply because the pricing of the items on their menu are on the steeper side. A golden turmeric chai latte is $6 and it’s in (probably) 5-6oz cup. I wanted oat milk that was $1. Plus gratuity of course. It was really tasty - just pricey. But then again it is Montecito so it feels relevant. My friend had the same drink I did plus an egg and bacon biscuit sandwich which she said was good but also it was small. All in all it’s a great experience just be prepared to pay a little higher prices."
