"We tried this place out on a whim and were pleased with the food. We both got the burrito special for the night. It was asada, chorizo, bacon, rice, beans, onions, bell peppers, and jalapeños, with a hot sauce on the side. Absolutely delicious and HUGE! The service was quick, and the staff amazing. It was a little loud because it was busy, but that's not an issue, just means it was a successful night for the business. We will be going back to try more from their menu for sure."

"I came down to Turlock for three things, ...#1 eat at Memo's Cocina & Tequila Bar, go the great Tumbleweed Festival and then see Old Cast Iron Tilly about about the 100 year old Plancha she's selling, the damn thing weighs about 300 pounds and it's a good thing she can lift it too, and she did...right into the back of my truck, by herself! The Festival was amazing, Mr. Pickles Peacuspuss won best of show because he had a Tumbleweed that looked exactly like Rosie O'Donnell only prettier...not as smelly. But the best poo art of the trip was going to Memo's Cocina, the tacos were Spectacular! ☆☆☆☆☆"

"Went to Memo's for first time and we were thoroughly impressed with everything about this place. The menu had a variety of items and some I've never seen at other Mexican restaurants. The service was fast and efficient and we even got our food in what seemed like 5 minutes! I ordered the steak arrachera and it was crazy good! The steak was incredibly tender and fresh and I can't get the flavors out of my head! My husband had the shrimp tacos and fell in love. On top of all that, the environment was friendly and a good mix of people and the prices were very reasonable. I think we found our new favorite restaurant!"

"The shrimp mango civiche was not fresh. There was hardly any mango and the shrimp was not fresh. It tasted dry and like it was sitting out for sometime. The tacos were ok but I've had better at a taco stand."

"We waited a while to be greeted and seated. Once seated, it took a while for our drink order to be taken, but they did bring water out fairly quickly. Our order taking followed in the same manner which I felt was underwhelming especially since they were not super busy. The server was nice enough and filled our drinks at least twice during the meal. The food was flavorful and was a good portion size. The restaurant is generally fairly busy whenever I pass by, but I wasn’t super impressed. Overall I would say a good value for the price I paid, good food and good portion size, just unimpressed with the service. I would visit again, but only when I’m not pressed for time."
