"The pizza was was far too chewy. I had to take half-bites and really work my jaw to get it down - too much dense cheese and the crust was limp when it should be crisp. What's worse, the pizza had a lemony, sour taste to it that convinced me the yeast or the cheese had gone bad, or perhaps both. I hated the taste. I spent $26 to eat a slice before giving up. I've since discovered Friends and Family Pizza Co. sells sourdough crust pizzas ONLY. Now, that alone is fine, but there is no indication anywhere - on theirs sign or menu - that their pizzas are sourdough crust only. The menu simply says "cheese pizza," which is what I ordered and what I expected. If I wanted sourdough crust I would have ordered it. What I don't understand is why they don't sell "both" a regular and a sourdough version. If not, they should change their name to Friends and Family Sourdough Crust Pizza Co."
