"My family, friends, and I are from chicago and ate there last weekend for lunch on our trip. The kindest and sweetest old man greeted us all inside. We were all starving so he prepared fresh bread and oil free of charge for us. All of our food came out and it was all so fresh and delicious! He also took a group picture of us with all of our food. After our meal the same man gave us all each a scoop of gelato free of charge as well. We were the only ones in the restaurant at the time eating which I was surprised because it was so good and authentic!"

"This was such an authentic, adorable little nook. The location was so central, and yet tucked away. Antonio was so sweet to us… treated us like VIPs. I am a sucker for ambiance, and this was just the perfect spot. The main drag on the beach had been loud and overstimulating, so I walked 2 blocks and stumbled upon this tree-lined corner restaurant with heat lamps and a really personal feel. It’s a great place to have a conversation without feeling like you’re yelling…. but without the place being “tablecloth” fancy. In the middle of dinner, we overheard someone walking past the restaurant explaining to someone else, “This is Venice Cucina. I can make one of these pizzas DISAPPEAR.” So it sounds like there’s consensus! Thank you Antonio for the wonderful experience!"

"I brought my family here when we were visiting Venice Beach. The boys are normally extremely picky eaters but they constantly remind me of this place. "I will never forget their pasta" and "their pasta is always on my mind". The garden outside is beautiful, and gives you a warm and intimate vibe. The older gentleman was quite nice and worked extremely hard too. Not only did he work the counter and serve us, but I think I peeped him in the kitchen as well. He was such a wonderful host, constantly checking in on us. He even took our picture and gave the boys free gelato samples. It's no secret that they take extreme amounts of pride in their work and business. Will definitely go back. Any extra fees are well deserved to keep this hidden gem running."
