Freda's Pizza

"My wife, daughter, and I decided to finally try this place and unfortunately, very disappointed. "Pree", a woman working the register, seemed very annoyed and just not great at communicating. No "hello, how are you" even after I greeted her twice! Did not hear when I said our order was to go, and after seemed extremely annoyed when I reminded her. The wait was close to 30 min, which seems excessive for a Wednesday, especially being that the place was empty. Even after that, all would be forgiven if the pizza was good. A large slab of grease is what we received. The pizza was soggy and more on the sweet side, which is odd being that it was the spicy pepperoni. The price was close to $50 for an 18" and salad. The one thing I did like was the atmosphere. Beer, ice cream, and pizza with plenty of seating, definitely tough to beat. All in all, Toppers is way better, not sure what these other comments are referring to when they say this is the best pizza they've had. Something tells me the reviews were bought."

"The cheese pizza is all you need. Wow possibly the best crust in Ventura County. Had a great time eating this fresh food. The dressing for the beet salad was phenomenal. Looking forward to the next meal here."

"It's SO NICE that the salads on the menu are *interesting* and not merely a selection of pizza toppings repurposed as salad ingredients. You can actually get something and tasty and healthy to accompany your (probably) decadent pizza. We got the beet salad, cheese pizza, and spinaci pizza. Yum!"

"This location share the interior with TOPA TOPA Brewery and Rori’s Creamery so it’s like an annex hall. Lots of movement going on during Friday and Saturday. The pizza was ok. We purchased three of their most popular pizzas the mushroom pizza, short rib pizza and Margarita. The dough was ok, it was a bit chewy to the finish (3.3 stars) over all the mushroom pizza was a hit. The short rib and margarita were average not bad. If we make a second sound will go back for the Fungi pizza."
