"A really quick place to get something to eat before a show or after. Chicken quesadilla was $12 and well wort it. A short wait time for my order. Would definitely hit them up for some food again."
"From California spending the weekend in Nashville, this is by far the best food option in the Nashville downtown/ Broadway area. The tacos and burritos are great and authentic (try the pastor or Pollo Rojo) so good and fresh the service is extremely fast. Will definitely come here for the rest of the weekend."
"Taco Chela is a standard resident food truck offering quick Mexican bites. I tried the Pollo Rojo taco, and while I appreciated their prompt service, the flavor and texture left a lot to be desired."
"Now, let's talk about the food - the star of the show at Taco Chela. The menu boasted an impressive variety of tacos, each bursting with flavor and authenticity. From traditional options like al pastor and carne asada to unique creations like the vegetarian-friendly roasted cauliflower, there was something to please every palate. The tacos were generously filled with tender and well-seasoned meat, fresh toppings, and a choice of homemade salsas that added an extra kick of flavor. The combination of flavors and textures in each bite was simply outstanding. What sets Taco Chela apart from other Mexican restaurants in Nashville is their commitment to using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients. Their dedication to supporting local farmers and suppliers is evident in the freshness and taste of their dishes. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of each taco showcased the chef's culinary expertise and passion for creating authentic Mexican flavors. In addition to their stellar tacos, Taco Chela also offers a variety of other Mexican delights, including quesadillas, burritos, and refreshing margaritas. Their drink menu featured a diverse range of options, from classic margaritas to unique flavor combinations like watermelon jalapeno. I couldn't resist trying their signature margarita, and it certainly did not disappoint. The perfect balance of tangy and sweet flavors made it the ideal accompaniment to the flavorful tacos. #CountryMusicHallOfFame #NashvilleVibes #MusicLegends #CountryMusicMagic #HallOfFameVibes #NashvilleNostalgia #MusicCityMagic #HallOfFameVibes #Nashville #MusicCity #TennesseeTreasures #NatureCalling #MountainWanderlust #TaylorSwift #QueenOfPop #Fearless #ElvisPresley #KingOfRockAndRoll #LegendaryVibes #ChrisStapleton #CountryMusicLegend #SoulfulVibes #MusicMagic #GoodVibesOnly #MusicCityCrawler #NashvilleVibes #TennesseeTunes #MusicCityMagic"
"2022 Food Truck Month, Part 3 We caught up with “Taco Chela” on the corner of Korean Veteran’s Boulevard and Rep. John Lewis Way, South in Nashville, Tennessee. Based upon what we observed, it would appear that they are putting down some (at least temporary) roots, so this location should be solid for the foreseeable future. The most noteworthy things from this visit include: *The contributions of the pineapple upon the “Pastor” tacos. *The contributions of the marinated flank steak upon the “Carne Asada” tacos. *The contributions of the chipotle creme upon the “Pollo Rojo” tacos. This place is worthy of another visit from Henry’s Take…and your first visit, as well. And that’s…Henry’s Take. #nashvillefoodtrucks"
