"We were really excited to try this place, but it fell very short of our expectations. We both got the enchiladas and the red sauce was just OK. The beans were great the rice not so much. I did ask for my plate to be extra heated up and melted and it was not. It was quite pricey $33 for two enchilada dinners with a basket of chips and salsa which is not complementary. You order at the counter and they bring the item to you. So it’s kind of like dine in kind of like takeout. Staff was flat personality. Nobody else was in the restaurant and it was Saturday night at 6 PM. It’s just really different than what we’re used to. It seems like a local only type of establishment. Very small quiet agricultural town not much around. We are driving through on our way to Arizona."

"Just one block North of highway 58 on Main Street in Buttonwillow is this authentic Mexican food restaurant that serves great tasty food. Service was fast and friendly and it is reasonably priced. I ordered a chili verde burrito with eggs and beans, gosh it was very good. My friend ordered the chili verde plate with rice and beans. I will definitely stop here again very soon."

"Food was really good! Definitely recommend the chilaquiles. We also got a wet green burrito with Carne asada. The meat was juicy and flavorful. Salsa was really good, it had a smokey chipotle flavor to it. If you are driving down the 5 fwy it is definitely worth the detour."
