"We were looking to enjoy a pizza tonight and I checked out Google Reviews, now mind you I've driven by this place a thousand times at lest. After reading the reviews I had to go check it out, Uptown Pizza is a hidden gem in Oxnard. You can tell the man making these pizzas puts his entire heart into preparing your pizza. We use to like toppers, but after experiencing the amazing veggie delight pizza from Uptown pizza tonight we will not order another pizza from toppers. Thank you Uptown pizza for making authentic pizzas in ventura county."

"This place is a total waste of time. A few days ago I was craving an Italian sausage sandwich so I searched the internet and found this place. I drove over about 6:30pm and was asked by a man making a pizza(no one at the counter) if I was picking up a pizza. I asked for a sausage sandwich but was told they quit serving sandwiches at 3:00. I certainly didn’t see this restriction on the website nor did I see a sign in the store. I left very disappointed. Today I was in the area early enough so I thought I would try again. As I walked up to the door, a man was putting a “closed” sign in the window. When he saw the wondering look on my face, he threw up his hands as if to say “too bad”. This was at 2:45 in the afternoon! I can only surmise that they have no interest in growing their business."

"Was here at the perfect time. Just after lunch. Lots of options. Inside and outside seating. Pizza was perfect. Ask for well done."

"We don't get pizza anywhere else. It's Uptown or nothing. Very generous toppings and tasty hot or cold. Faves are the all meat, chicken fajita, and Hawaiian BBQ chicken. If you're craving cheese, try the cheesy bread with marinara sauce. Never disappointed here!"

"Ade fresh from scratch on the spot. Amazing taste and flavor and the guy there was very helpful. The service was great. The garlic bread sticks were so scrumptious too. The sauce was organic and fresh too. If you are in town this is a must try."
