"Clam chowder is a must have, there are plenty of crispy clams in the chowder. The Rock Cod served with broccoli, squash and rice is also very great. Service was attentive and friendly. The temperature of the food and chowder were served nice and hot. I highly recommend the restaurant, the 30 mins wait was well worth it. The only complaint was that the restaurant was very noisy ."

"Very delicious seafood. Loved the chowder and shrimp scampi. The shrimp was served with a penne pasta that was out of this world delicious. Very tasty vegetable assortment also. Garlic cheese bread very yummy, too. Dining companions report that the Venison burger and Monterey Sand Dabs were exceptionally delicious also. Fair prices for excellent quality dinner."

"Probably the best chowder I've had and the calamari was perfectly fried. Tack on garlic and cheese to the bread bowl top and it's heaven on a plate."

"We visited for Monday lunch as a party of 5 and there was no wait. We were looking to eat outside of the pier, which is full of tourist traps, and we definitely made a good choice coming here. They have a very solid menu with a variety of entrees (mostly leaning towards seafood and Italian), and all of the dishes our party tried were great. In particular, the clam chowder and Boston pan roast bisque were amazing. I opted to get my soup in a bread bowl with the garlic cheese lid; the lid came out a tad burnt, but it was still delicious!"

"Entered the restaurant on a Friday night about an hour before closing. White New England-style clam chowder is one of my favorite foods, so I came here specifically with that in mind. Ordered a bowl of clam chowder ($14) and a small Caesar salad ($9). The chowder was served piping hot (the way I like it, not lukewarm) with oyster crackers and warm sourdough bread with butter pats. The chowder is creamy and delicious with lots of clams. No potatoes, which I love, but this house-made chowder was delicious, and I would definitely order (and share) next time. It’s a big bowl of thick, hot soup!! The salad was served with two pieces of cheese toast, chopped romaine, halved Cherry tomatoes and shredded Parmesan cheese with cracked black pepper. Dressing does not contain anchovies. Both the bowl of soup AND salad were more than enough food for one person. I ate the salad, but I couldn’t finish all of the soup, so I asked for a takeout container to pack the leftovers to take back to my hotel. The server kindly packed up some extra bread for me, too, so I could have soup and bread for breakfast! Very kind!! I felt that this place goes out of their way to please the customer. Highly recommended!! Nice dining experience before golf!!"
