"This place was amazing! The food was so delicious, big portions, reasonably priced, and plated so professionally. The server was so friendly and welcoming. I ordered the super nachos without meat, to go. I received my order in a timely manner. In my to go bag the staff added: two different salsas, a bag of chopped onions and cilantro, a bag of lemons, a fork, and extra napkins. These added details create loyalty and very happy customers. I am going to return and try different menu items. They also have this unique outdoor area where you can enjoy your food in a peaceful atmosphere. I will try this area out another day when it isn’t raining. All in all it was a fantastic experience and I was very pleased with the results."

"One cosome was accidentally drop on the table and was replace but charged...over 4 people they automatically add tips we were 3 adults plus a 5 and 6 years old ...this area is farm workers they don't make to much money to be impose automatic tips and if you imposed it let the client know...food is great see you soon"

"Took our picky mom out for breakfast and she loved it! She ordered the Machaca and my husband ordered Birria chilaquiles. Our sever was absolutely the best. Very attentive and sweet. The hostess with the bleached blonde hair that sat us at our table wasnt so nice. No smile and very short with answers and looked bothered. No stars taken away because the restaurant has no control of their employee attitude, and if it works for them fine. Lol I will just not sit at her table. Disgruntled employees have nothing to do with the wonderful food."

"We ended up here after chatting with a Salinas local, who told us despite dozens of taco joints there, she goes up to Castroville to this place. Easy to see why. Clean, comfortable dining room, friendly and attentive staff, and safe parking. Handmade tortillas are a benchmark of their menu. Although you have to pay a little extra for them, their perfectly light, fluffy texture is worth it. We tried quesabirria, asada, pastor, pollo, and cabeza tacos. All were great, especially the cabeza. I don't believe the pastor is trumpo roasted and was spicier than expected but still good. In general, their dishes highlight the flavor of good meat, instead of burying marginal quality in spices like so many restaurants. If you want to ramp up the heat the house red sauce will certainly get you there, but the tomatillo sauce has nicer flavor. Overall, this might not be the most instagrammy spot around, but it is excellent, authentic food in a comfortable setting."

"Got our seat and food fast. The food would get 5 stars. But the Service was horrible. We ordered Salsa and chips and never got it. Got our tacos fast but after that we were completely ignored."
