Ross Dress for Less

"Messy dirty store in a dead shopping center. The employees are rude with weird clothes. Some of the rude lady employees( I think they're ladies)look like ugly nuns and witches from scary movies. Don't they have a dress code?"

"Used to be my favorite store. I lived in Mountain View, California for over 30years. Moved to Phoenix, AZ six years ago. Visiting my daughter here in Los Gatos. This store visit was a sheer disappointment. I was greeted by an individual at the door. Later on I was forced to think that she could have been of more used in the store providing help. I was looking for a few items that I did located after making a few rounds since no help was to be found. After 15 search I found a lady who was pleasant but when I asked where would I find men’s colognes, she gave me a bigger smile and said, “no speak english”. Again, after a few rounds I found them on the back of ladies’ fragrances. The frustration stoped me from looking for other items. I went to the check out. A young lad was busy checking out a lady who had purchased a shopping cart full of stuff. I am an old man with many health issues including weak knees. A lady was sorting clothes behind the young man. Other people kept lining up behind me and I kept hoping that the sorting lady might jump in and take customers at the check stand. I also hoped for the young man to go on PA system to ask for help. That never happened. Finally, the young man put the last item of the shopper lady in the bag. Right at that moment, the “sorting lady” made the announcement, “next”. I thanked God and presented her with my few items. After getting checked out I saw the “greeting lady” chatting with two other employees at the front. As a retired EVP of Citibank, I asked myself, “who is running the store?” It seems like that the management doesn’t feel the necessity to provide any service. They must believe that their lower prices are enough to compensate for th lack of any type of “customer service”. I have no plan to shop at Ross any more. I know it would nothing to the top brass. Nonetheless, this is how I plan to register my protest against the total lack of service."

"A retail outlet at discounted prices located at Westgate Center. Plenty of parking slots available. it is a big store where you usually find clothing, shoes, beuwty products, socks, underwear, jackets, designer bags, home decor. mostly the bag ans shoe racks have little display and showcase only old model and stocks. if you are lucky you can find some nice stocks depends on your fashion sense."

"Had no idea that they carried aerie bras and underwear at unBEATABLE prices so I’m so pleased with my finds! I haven’t been to a Ross in ages so it was nice to see brands I actually recognized, especially in makeup (Becca, Bare Minerals, Too Faced) Checking out is a pain but I suppose that’s how all Ross stores are ..."
