"Update: The following Sunday, we returned for dinner, but unfortunately, the service was exceptionally slow. Despite waiting at least 8-10 minutes, I had to flag down the hostess to locate our server. It was evident that he had seen me as he attended to neighboring tables. When he finally approached our table, his demeanor lacked warmth, devoid of a genuine greeting or smile, as if we were an inconvenience. I typically refrain from commenting on subpar service out of sympathy for the hard work involved, having been in similar shoes during my college years, so I won't mention any names. However, the experience was disappointing. Furthermore, when our food arrived, the pork chops I had requested to be cooked medium were served well-done and lacked flavor. Given these factors, I believe it's best to take a break before considering another visit, especially with plenty of other dining options available in LG. First Visit: Tonight, we decided to dine at Los Gatos Parkside for a relaxed dinner date. It was our first visit, and we were delighted with the overall experience. Surprisingly, the pricing was very reasonable compared to our expectations, and our server, John, was attentive. We appreciated his recommendations, and every dish we tried was delicious. Despite being too full for dessert, we look forward to returning for the beignets, and we both enjoyed our drinks. My mocktail was particularly impressive, considering my recent avoidance of alcohol and disappointment with other mocktails offered elsewhere. The restaurant's cozy atmosphere features a spacious bar area that was bustling even during our early dinner visit. Convenient parking nearby, close proximity to the park, and its central location in Los Gatos add to its appeal. We truly enjoyed our time tonight at LG Parkside and look forward to becoming regular patrons."

"The turkey sandwich is tasty and warm, but the breakfast croissant sandwich is a bit soggy. We came at noon, tried both the brunch and lunch menus, and wished they had more options. The restaurant has a cozy vibe with nice decorations."

"12/14/23 - lunch. Good new location in downtown LG. Relatively small menu, but each dish we had (party of 3) was very good. The service was really slow to the point where after waiting for about 10 minutes we flagged down a waiter to take our order. Prices are pretty much in line with other spots in LG. Our tab (NO alcohol) for 3 was around $100. Ouch!"

"We recently dined at Parkside, and it was an absolute delight. To start, we tried the deviled eggs, and even our little one loved the cool texture of the bacon bits. But the true star of the meal was the fried chicken – it was incredibly buttery and had a delightful crispy crust. Paired with the creamy mashed potatoes, it was a match made in heaven. The grain balls added a healthy and tasty touch to the meal. The ambiance around the bar area was perfect for a relaxed evening out. We're already planning to return. Parkside is a gem, and we highly recommend it for a memorable dining experience."

"Cool new spot in LG and we’re all about it. The hubby and I came here tonight for our anniversary dinner…didn’t know what to expect bc there was only one Yelp review but from the very few photos posted, we thought it’d be worth a try and boy are we glad we did. First, hands off to Lexi; she was an awesome server. She’s super friendly and very attentive; she didn’t miss a beat! The ambiance is awesome. Great for a date night, girls/boys night, family night or even just a solo night. Their craft cocktails are super tasty; a must is their version of the espresso martini; it’s on nitro. The food was really good; all was very fresh and made of good quality ingredients. The hubby and I shared the tuna ahi poke and lettuce wraps (with shrimp), then we each had a horseradish encrusted salmon and the pork chop entree. Both came with a good amount of sides which was nice. To top off the night we shared the ice cream sundae. Diggin’ this place and will definitely be back. Note: there’s no dedicated parking lot but plenty of side street parking. Corkage is $35."
