"Udon > Ramen (for me) and they do the classics like sukiyaki udon quite well (pictured), max comfort food. Best udon I've had in the bay so far, let's see if they keep the title"
"The udon deluxe was good but the more I ate, the more salty it tasted. They also didn’t put a lot of meat in there. The creamy salmon udon was good. Takoyaki was just meh. Had too much mayo on it. Eggplant tempura was good just a little greasy. Atmosphere was very nice. Service was slow but it was because there was only one server working and she was really nice."
"I’m so happy to discover a restaurant that serves and is dedicated to only Udon. This is my son’s favorite Japanese noodles and we knew this place will be added to our frequent list soon. This restaurant has an interesting brick wall decoration with yellow lights, which makes the whole restaurant so warm and cozy, especially during the cold winter days. For the dishes, they are delicious. They nailed the broth. I was upset that many Japanese restaurants don’t do this right. They added cabbage and carrots and some other types of vegetables in the broth, which made it totally different from what Udon broth is supposed to taste. So glad that there are still Japanese restaurants that actually serve traditional Udon dishes."
"Food 7/10 The broth was solid but the chew of the udon fell quite short of my expectations. Unfortunate. The Dassai carafe was honestly quite well-priced though. A massive bowl for a solid price, so I did finish the meal very stuffed. Atmosphere 8/10 Nicely spacious area, light wooden detailing. Service 8/10 Good service, nothing else to add on."
"These regular udon dishes were huge! I'm glad I didn't get the large ha..there was this corn tempura I wanted to try but it wasn't as crispy as I thought. It was ok. However the warm broth udon dish was very good. Getting a table was very easy (no wait for 5 people). They have outdoor and indoor seating."
