"Our waitress Britney was so amazing. I called to for reservation for the same day. Britney picked up and I asked her if they took reservation and she said yes. It was last-minute but she made it happen for a group of 19 people. It was for Anniversary. She made us feel welcome and she was amazing and wonderful. "For a pescatarian, I had my concerns about how my food preferences might intersect with Famous Dave's BBQ. The decor was clean and rustic chic. Nice big roll of paper towels, ready for the moment of truth. Our server was friendly, attentive and professional. It was a pleasant surprise to have a big glass jug for a drink. In terms of food, the side salad was great, my wife's pulled chicken along with mac and cheese, all good. My fish tacos with potato wedges were very good (shrimp good, catfish was great!). Veggie burger and several salad options also nice to see. I loved the feeling of rolling the dice on a place outside our comfort zone that came up big in taste, service and overall experience. This location is very close to Southland Mall and the new Hobby Lobby. BBQ sauces were tangy, tasty and offered on a four-point heat spectrum. We will definitely return, perhaps with a birthday bonus treat (TBD)."
