"This place will do in a pinch if you are looking for clean-tasting food that comes out fast with spacious seating. I got the plate pass recently and have tried a plethora of things since then. The sides range from very well-seasoned to very salty. Personally I like the mushrooms and the brussel sprouts and do not recommend the Mac and cheese. For entrees, the Nashville tenders are amazing for what they are. They are slightly sweet and pretty spicy at the same time without being overpowering. I usually don't like chicken tenders coated with sauce but these are still wonderfully crispy. I like the dill ranch and the buffalo sauce. The honey mustard is a bit too sugary for me. Most of the braises are very meh. The shrimp skewers look translucent and are not juicy at all. For the salads, I like the bicolor beet one and the ahi tuna nicoise. The desserts are unique tasting. Since I love banana desserts, I had to try the banana cream pie and hummingbird cake. The banana cream pie was unique, very healthy tasting. The graham pie crust was very crumbly and fell to pieces. The banana cream was more on the custardy side which is not my personal preference. The hummingbird cake has 1100 calories per slice so it tastes awesome."

"I have always been a big fan of Urban Plate, my go to location is the one in Pleasant Hill so I was pleased to see that Sunnyvale had one as well, as I had a day out in this area. While I love my Pleasant Hill one, I must say I was super pleased with the amount of parking here and the amount of space inside. This location is HUGE, they have so much seating inside and outside on a bit of a patio like structure, it's full covered so don't worry about any outside nonsense bothering you, it's just very refreshing. Now for the food. The salmon is my go to meal, brussel sprouts with a side of mac and cheese and their absolutely delicious lemonade... it was a hit. I couldn't help myself so I also got the tender plate to go with some fries and their Nashville chicken tenders are thick and spicy! I've never been to Nashville, but if this is what I have to go off on, then count me in. I loved it so much I went back the following day to try more of their food, Raul the head chef was so kind in suggesting new dishes to try so I went with the braised beef and mushroom with mashed potatoes. Totally out of my norm but easily added to the rotation of food I get there. One thing that I do NOT skip whenever I visit is the Humming Bird cake, it's not something you see often so it's such a treat to have that available here every time you go, their desserts are mouthwatering and their thrown in your face as soon as you get in. Food comes out very quick and taste is a 10/10"
