"Stumbled across this small restaurant / cafe by accident while driving through Big Sur; an excellent find! A very friendly welcome, a lovely homely place, and a great selection of food. The beef enchiladas were excellent. Everything, including the restrooms, was spotlessly clean. A grocery store is next door and also a gas station. A perfect place to stop for home cooked food and great service."

"Locally termed to us as the "Ripplewood Cafe" and "Best Cafe hometown breakfast" they did not disappoint. We drove a few miles from the Big Sur Lodge to find a great breakfast with great service. 8am to 2pm. Breakfast all day. 11am adds a lunch menu. "Someone really knows how to make some blueberry pancakes" from the 14 year old. "Great crispy quality bacon, great eggs, don't usually.like hashbrowns" from the 10 year old. The 8 year old says "very fluffy, in a good way" about the pancakes. The fresh salsa that went with the avocado + sour cream + breakfast burrito was so good. PS - Greatest joke ever, in the bathroom, with the towel dryer. I know, your totally curious now aren't you?"

"Delicious hot chocolate, very courteous service and clean washroom! There process were, dare I say, cheap, for Bay Area prices. All drinks were about $3.50! All tables were socially distant, it took very less time to order and receive our order even on a weekend. Definitely a good stop on the way to or from Big Sur!"
