"Lowes in Dublin in Dublin BVLD. And this is for associate who attended me in hardware section. I dropped in to get a small screw set at this store and needed help to get correct part so I came across this lady in hardware section to whom i asked for help but oh man she was so rude, cold and arrogant. While i was providing some info about my need she kept making lame comments and sounded dont wanted to help etc. I was like wow, she is acting up like a boss here. She had absolutely zero customer skills. She definitely needs training on soft skills and how to talk to customers. Dublin lowe's if you are seeing this comment, Kindly take this seriously - I will write event details including her name to customer services. Not sure if all of them are like this at this store. This is certainly not done."
"RANT: Lowe's in Dublin used Keller Interiors to install carpet in an upstairs bedroom that clearly didn't match. I was downstairs. The installer told me after "yes, I noticed it didn't match" but didn't think to call me upstairs to look at it and just installed it anyway. This is after he called me upstairs to look at the padding, the wood floor, and the cables, so it's not like he didn't ask me to look at everything else. Yes, my fault for ordering what appears to be the wrong color. I offered to pay a restocking fee for my error but they said no they will not discount or allow me that - I would have to pay for the entire service all over again. $1k for one bedroom. Terrible terrible customer service and experience at Lowe's. Don't make the same mistake I did! Shop somewhere else!"
"Lowe’s have poor Customer Service, when you call the Appliance department they never answer. We purchased a washer and dryer and microwave oven on 12/3/23 and they just delivered the washer & dryer today 12/13/23 we paid for the kit to make them stackable and when it got here it had missing parts it only came with one rod and now we have to wait another week to get that replaced and installed. Now the microwave which we thought was easy to install they said we have to wait till the installer or a third party ( sub contractor) takes the job. But when we made the appointment at the Lowe’s appliance department for the same date as the washer & dryer they said it was possible that someone would Call us back to set the appointment time and they never did . So now we don’t know when that will be getting take care of . We miss Sears they were more dependable and they had their own service man doing repairs , Too bad they are close now Bummer!! We won’t do business again with Lowe’s they have you jumping through hoops and to top it off they give you the runaround to make up excuses for there horrible customer service. They should offer a compensation or discount to customer. That’s the right thing to do it’s their mistake not ours."
"I ordered a fridge, washer and dryer and scheduled the delivery for a week ago. On delivery day, I got a call saying the delivery people came to the house and no one answered the door, so they left. However, I was literally waiting right by the front door all day, so I don't see how this is possible. I had to call multiple people to find out where my delivery was and to reschedule my delivery, which was for a week later since that was their first availability. Consequently, I had to make do without a fridge for a week. Today, a week later, on the day of the rescheduled delivery, I wait around all morning again glued to my phone. The delivery window comes and goes. I call the store to find out the status of my delivery and get put on hold for 20 minutes while they "ask their manager". Another person eventually picks up the phone, with no idea why I am calling. After again explaining multiple times why I am calling, I finally get told they can transfer me to the driver to find out why it is delayed. Hopeful, I get transferred to a "last mile" phone number, where I talk to a slightly more helpful employee who tells me there is a stock issue and offers to transfer me to the fulfilling store to find out more details. I say no, they literally just transferred me to you. All this person could do was put a note on my file for someone to call me with a status update once they restock the unknown item in question. After dozens of calls, a week, and two scheduled deliveries that were canceled for false or hitherto unknown reasons, I am still without a fridge, washer, or dryer. No one has contacted me to explain that the delivery was canceled or delayed or the reason why, and the order status online just says it is "out for delivery, running a little behind, should be arriving soon." I had to call all over the place just to find out why my appliances have not been delivered as promised and that my rescheduled delivery was canceled, again. Am I just supposed to wait at home, glued to my phone, until Lowe's decides to fulfill my order? How many weeks does my delivery have to be delayed before Lowe's steps up and does something about it?"
"I usually don’t write negative reviews but writing this one as I hope this will serve as a feedback for Lowe’s management to improve their poor customer service. There is no one to attend or help you as they are badly understaffed at least in the Dublin Lowe’s. Even going to customer service desk does not help. I wish they improve their service else only option remains is Home Depot for home improvement stuff."
