"I come here once or twice every week to have pho dac biet large. (Small,Large, Extra large) It's a good portion compared to other places. Most Vietnamese restaurants I've been to really skimp on their portions of pho. I'm glad this place exists"
"I am honestly shocked at the portion sizes. I got a dozen small string beans in way too much sauce in a tiny container, and an "extra large" pho gai that barely had anything going on, and it was in no way an extra large. Just dry white meat slices and a little bag of bean sprouts, and a bit of cilantro. None of the good stuff and not a lot of it. Over 23 dollars plus tip for something that was supposed to feed two people. I don't know what was extra large about it. I barely had anything in it Maybe because it was the end of the night? Either way I can't leave a good review. This wasn't worth what I paid for it despite the broth flavor being good"
"I've been to other locations of this pho restaurant, but this one in Alameda has the best customer service. As soon as my friend and I came in, the staff approached us right away and led us to the table of our choice. Service is fast as well."
"Being out of town, I choose this restaurant due to the great Google reviews, however I’m highly disappointed! Ordered pork rice. Pork taste like rubber band with no flavor, rice was dried and old. It’s a shame that such big city can offer such terrible food. After I sorted through the food and had two bite. I stopped eating and went to sleep hungry . I’m from a town with not a lot of Asian food, but I promise, I can randomly select any Vietnamese restaurant and the food would be 100% better - and half the price!"
"Stopped on a Wednesday, around 4:30pm. Was not busy. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. The waitress was very polite and attentive. I ordered an extra large Pho Ga and shrimp spring rolls. They brought my order out in less than 5 minutes, and it was huge. Broth/Pho was excellent! The Spring Rolls were very fresh and the lettuce wraps were very crisp, flavor was excellent! Peanut sauce was perfect as well. I will definitely visit again if in the area! $14 (before tax and tip) for a bowl of Pho that large and two excellent Spring Rolls was a great price as well!"
