"Get everything in writing to avoid a shocking bill. I was told $374 "out the door" to fix some sensors that were triggering a check engine light. $374 + the $185 diagnostic (plug the device in to get the code) + a $90 oil change i did not authorize. In the end my "$374 out the door" became a $645 bill. No written estimate, no verbal agreement to add the oil change. For basic repairs, there are probably better shops."

"After calling ahead multiple times to ensure they would center my front axle on my truck prior to performing an alignment I received the truck back WITHOUT them centering the front axle causing damage to my shock mount from rubbing against the track bar mount. Furthermore they pay Yelp to remove bad reviews so mine won’t show up. After talking to them three times, twice on the phone and once in person when I dropped it off, they still didn’t do what I paid them to do and on top of that they lied about what happened. I’ve talked to many respected local folks in the industry and apparently Peterson does not carry a good reputation. I’m amazed any shop would perform an alignment with the front axle at least 2” out of center and not say anything about it, let alone fail to listen to basic instructions given multiple times to center said axle. Go elsewhere if you care about your vehicle."
