"This is my husband’s go-to place for rueben. The combination of toasted rye bread, juicy pastrami, and warm flavorful sauerkraut is perfect. My impossible burger has generous amount of avocado, tomato, onion, and lettuce. The patty is not too thick and cooked just right. I usually take out pickles, especially those with strong additive smell. The pickles here taste good. Tomato soup has more flavor than just tomato. Lemonade is fresh and not too sweet. We can’t find anything wrong with today’s lunch so I will leave a 5-star."
"One of our favorite restaurants in San Mateo. Great food selection, especially if you are a fan of pastrami. Long list of intriguing beers from around the world to complement the savory food. Nice outdoor seating area during the summer months, and a large parking lot nearby."
"Excellent food and beer selections. It's always difficult to choose between many great options. The Mac and cheese and cheesesteaks are always hits with everyone. The Poutine, goofy fries, and burgers are all superb."
