"Pleasantly delighted by this sushi spot. Fresh fish and great ambience inside, don’t be put off by the strip mall surroundings. The sashimi was very fresh and sushi rolls generous."

"Love this place. was just in town for a long weekend but read that this was one of the best sushi places and no lie, it is! small place and we got a table right away I think only because of the holiday weekend. service was great. very small business, local feel. seem to have some regulars. sashimi was super fresh and reasonably priced for what you get. wish I lived closer!"

"Great sushi option! A lot of their rolls seem to have fried components, and we love the Godzilla roll. Excellent salmon sushi, and the sashimi salad was delicious as well. Every piece here has been delicious! I wish there was a little more seating space, but at least less people inside generally means fast service."

"A charging sushi restaurant with excellent sashimi and rolls. I came here on a Thursday night, looking for a quick bite with a couple friends. Shige showed up as a good option and I wasn't disappointed. We had the large plate of sashimi which included the chefs special fish for the day along with some rolls including the chefs surprise. Everything was excellent, and the short sake list had some fabulous options. When in Sonoma looking for a low key, but very good sushi restaurant, I will eat here every time."

"I’m pleased to say, I don’t have to go into the City to experience an authentic taste of Japan. I had the Bento box lunch plate, with Karaage Chicken, not teriyaki! I wanted to try something new. Karaage is something I have never had before. The portion was generous and the chicken was juicy and tender with a spice and flavor that to me was unique. The description on the menu said “spicy” but it’s not hot, more of a gentle tangy taste. But not sweet! Very flavorful with a delicious dipping sauce on the side. Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere. A nice selection of wines, beers and sake. I forgot to order Miso soup and California roll. I liked the house made cheese cake. Yet, I was disappointed that it wasn’t made with Anko or green tea ice cream or maybe even Japanese persimmon. Next time I visit I will try the beef Teriyaki and maybe some Udon."
