Reviews
"New discovery for me. They did not have a ton of choices, but I prefer a place that makes their offerings as good as possible. This place did that. I enjoyed everything that I tasted. Yum! I’m surprised by the low reviews. It doesn’t jive with the number of people that were jammed in here on a weekday night."
"The Osmanthus Milk Tea is not my cup of tea. The tea tasted very light, so when you mixed that with milk, it tasted like watery milk or milk that has too much melted ice. And it cost $7-8 so I kinda disappointed. Place is always crowded. They have welcome drink which I thought pretty nice to have for people who waited"
"I usually order the Bubble Milk Tea with Boba but this time I opted to try the High Mountain Pouchang Tea with Oatmilk and Boba. This one isn’t my favorite since I felt the Oatmilk masked the taste of the tea. My boyfriend ordered the Dong Ding Oolong Tea Latte but it tasted a bit different than the one we usually order at the Chicha San Chen location in Alhambra, which left us a bit disappointed. However, quality of the boba was really good. The texture has a nice chewy consistency to it and it blends in really well with the drink. If you come here, I would recommend the Bubble Milk Tea with Boba. 10/10 for that one and my favorite!!! We also reserved to do a free tea tasting which is really cool since this is the only spot in the Bay Area that I know that does this! During the tea tasting, the worker explained the five different teas that we can choose to try. However, I was disappointed that we could only choose one to try out of the five. It was cool how she explained that the darkest color tea actually tasted the smokiest but has the least amount of caffeine. I tried that one and it was decent."
"The tea flavor is definitely good, sophisticated. They have some unique flavor like milk tea with lemon and cheese foam. The cheese foam was not as creamy as I hope for, rather the milk tea with cream was more creamy. The packaging is nice. With a little handle. But that's probably why you are paying $8 for milk tea. I can definitely go to couple of my favorite with similar quality for $4.5-5. Having said that, this place ain't bad but not worth waiting for hours."
"We arrived on a weekday afternoon but still waited almost an hour (from lining up, to ordering, and receiving our drinks). While we waited, we tried the complimentary tea experience where you get to taste one of the 5 types of tea by a tea specialist. Beverage here comes in a 12 oz cup with no options for upgrade. Staff here are super nice and oftentimes you will see the Manager on the floor directing customers to order for the kiosks. There is no separate line for the kiosks. They also provided a full menu book at the entrance so you can study them while you wait in line. Umbrellas are also available at your own service while you wait under the California sun. The selection of teas are unique and bold flavors. We've tried this place at least a dozen times by now and the flavors and qualities are always consistent. Unless you are craving their specific drinks, I'd say avoid this place on the weekends."
