"The coffee at this Yemeni place is exceptional, boasting rich flavors and a delightful aroma. The atmosphere is conducive to focused work or study, with a cozy ambiance and ample seating. However, the disappointment lies in the lackluster food and desserts, failing to complement the stellar coffee experience but overall a good place to visit"
"Beautiful contemporary space. Wonderful service. Divine cuisine! We had the toro and salmon sampler, hamachi truffle, tempura and edamame and it was all pure perfection—accompanied with a delicious sparkling cider! We will be back for sure!!!!"
"Sana’s Cafe offers a unique Yemeni-style experience. During my visit, I ordered the Adeni pot of tea, and it was served in a small pot that was sufficiently satisfying for two people. The space itself is a delightful blend of Middle Eastern charm, featuring intricate designs and a cozy atmosphere. What truly stood out was the assortment of Middle Eastern bakery and desserts that adorned the counter, adding to the overall appeal of the shop. Now, let’s talk about the Adeni Tea – a flavorful journey that captivated my taste buds. The Adeni Tea showcased a perfect balance of robustness and fragrant notes, creating a warm and inviting experience. The combination of the unique Yemeni-style ambiance, and the enjoyable Adeni Tea made my visit to Sana’s Cafe fairly good experience. Reason for -1 star due to the service here can take a while for the drinks preparation."
"Really fantastic Yemeni coffee shop. It’s just a few minutes off the main road in a relatively nice area. Service was very fast. I ordered the Adeni chai and it came out within 5 minutes. Be careful, it comes boiling hot. I recommend taking the lid off and letting it cool a bit. This Adeni chai is probably the best Adeni chai I’ve had. I’ve tried a handful of other Yemeni coffee shops and this one has the best flavor, texture, and sweetness. This cafe is a great spot to hang out with friends or get some work done. They’ve got a variety of seating including bar seating, table seating, and couches. I do wish this place was open a little later, at least on the weekends. Would be a great nighttime hangout spot."
"A nice, quaint cafe. This place is smaller, in a good location, and has never been a burden to go to. Their tea is good, the patrons have always been chatting quietly among themselves or are doing work on their laptop. Their various pastries have been tasty when we sampled them. Some of the atmosphere here feels a bit.... rudimentary, but not in a disingenuous way, if anything it feels more honest and easy to hang out at. We've gone here several times now, tried different teas and have enjoyed some snacks each time. Every time we are here we have a good experience. I suspect this will be a place we look for if we're ever around the Metreon. Really enjoyed this place."
