"Best pizza in San Francisco. All their pizza is made to order with the freshst ingredience possible. The owner is the coolest and most friendly chef on the planet. He is always there mastering his culinary skills with passion while making his customers feel at home. I recommend the Vincent Van Dough pizzPizza which is hand made with fresh roma tomatoes, freshly crushed basil and fresh garlic. The amazing flavors within this pizza literally explode in your mouth. This pizza is sooo amazing I also recommend the Potesto Pizza which is hand made with roasted red potatoes, roasted garlic and fresh basil. The pesto is sooo good. I can not emphasize in mere words how the delisiousness of this pizza. You gotta try it yourself. The walls are covered with works of art created from children creating a feeling of peace and love."
"Matt is the friendly owner here ; Slices are generous in size, served hot and crispy . I like the usage of corn flour to give the crust texture ; the pizza is neither thick nor thin- it’s the right size. Their walls are strewn with terrible sketches and drawings from neighborhood children. Sit outdoors as you get to experience the exquisite architecture of Hyde street with cable cars rolling by."
"NY boy living in California. It can be hard to find really good pizza in San Francisco. Many have told me to try Za. It took me a while, but finally made it! Had a slice of their sweet sausage and cheese. Both were delicious. Perfect crust, cheese is amazing. Just an all around solid slice of pizza. Quality ingredients. This will be one of my “go to” places."
"Sooooo goooooood Pizza. Delicious, fresh and big slice. Owner and employee very friendly. Love thin crust and crunchy. Great spot for tourists and local! Found this hidden gem because looking for bathrooms next to the Original Swensen ice cream."
