"Let me start off with saying I haven't had this place sense I moved away from redding in 2017, I'm visiting family and this was my first place I went to out to eat. It still taste just like I remember. I always get the combo #C, the egg foo young is very tasty, the rice is cooked great and the chow mein is just right, my daughter loves the crab puffs and I usually end up getting a second order just for her. I felt really bad for the young lady who was working the counter, looked like shes been there 12 straight hours.. she had an amazing attitude for being short staffed all day and kept a smile which makes me glad they can still make amazing food, have a smile and have great service all while being under pressure. Props to all the current staff, they've been making great food sense I can remember. Try this place out! It might just be your new favorite spot! Edited Jan 16, 2024: still amazing. "My sisters and I had lunch here recently and it was a wonderful meal. The portions were extremely generous and the food was fresh & delicious. The customer service was excellent and we all felt very comfortable and relaxed after a very hectic morning at the office. I highly recommend China Kitchen!"
