"Had a last minute stay in Redding and found this gem. Wonderful service (thank you Ginger and the bartender whose name I forgot already) and great food! They were so accommodating and sweet. We loved our whole experience. Great job!"

"The breakfast was amazing. I ordered the Shack special and my over medium eggs were cooked perfectly! The country potatoes were great too. My husband ordered the chicken and waffles and it was the best he has ever had. The chicken was tender and fried to perfection. We will be back! Excited to try lunch and dinner there. Also looking forward to live bands on the patio this spring. I can’t believe it took us this long to give the Shack a try."

"Visited The Shack for the first time this week and fell in love with the Bacon Mac & Cheese. I took my daughter there last night so she could try it and we had such an amazing experience, I had to write a review. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and having the owner come out and interact with my daughter and dance around and be silly with her made our entire night. We had no idea it was not just another customer having a great evening. He offered my little girl a drink of her choice and respectfully asked my permission first. It was a wholesome, family friendly, full of laughs experience for just picking up to-go food. Thank you for making our night! We will absolutely be back to support."

"2 fights in 10 mins around 5:30pm on a Thursday. I guess that's when happy hour ends. Yikes! Bad vibes, worse food, meh service. Poured wine into decanter, no wine glass while fighting with another person, then put order in incorrectly. Food was dismal. Was credited for it since I couldn't eat it which was appreciated. Never ever will return."

"Awesome visit for dinner. Tony was a great server - attentive, hilarious, and helpful. The food was delicious. The bruschetta wasn’t crunchy, but we got there late, so maybe the kitchen was closing and they rushed it. The prawn and lobster butter pasta was good. The chicken aglio e olio (with garlic and olive oil) was tasty as well, just had a bit too much oil sitting at the bottom of the plate. We can’t wait to try this place for brunch!"
