"Received outstanding service from Joel. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all things related to hiking and backpacking and a pleasure to deal with. I was also really happy with the deal I got on a new pair of Salomons."
"Good store, but some of the fishing and hunting guys think they're CDFW and will tell you fisheries and seasons are closed when they're not. The clerk interrupted the conversation I was having withy friend to tell me that rockfish season from shore was closed. I looked it up when I got home and called CDFW and the clerk had got the no fishing license required at public jetties and piers regulations confused with current rockfish regulations. When he looked it up he kept lying to cover his incompetence. Listen to them about their sales but ignore them otherwise, cheap gear but customer service is terrible."
"One of the oldest and best. and you'll need it for your outdoor adventures. They also have fashionable and sturdy work and play clothes. Carhart scrubs even. The only downfalls... It is very pricey as most outdoor stores are. Yet. If you can afford it. Go. I have and would again."
"I found a pair of women's Northface gloves that I liked ($50) but when I started to pay for them I noticed that one of the seams was coming unstitched. It was the only pair they had in my size. The clerk said he could order another pair for me and I said that would be fine. As he was ringing it up he said, "There will be a $10 shipping charge to get them to the store." How strange! Why would I pay $10 for them to replace their stock? I knew I could get these on Amazon and have them shipped directly to my home with no shipping charge so that's what I did. The clerk was not interested in looking at the defective seam. I hope they didn't put them back on the shelf."
"The staff in the hunting department are great! Morgan helped me pick out and purchase my first gun. She was knowledgeable and informative. I left feeling comfortable and confident with my purchase. Buying a firearm isn't something to take lightly. Buy it from professionals who really know what they're talking about. Pacific Outfitters is the place."
