"Everything was too salty. The fries: It seems a lot places are switching from the apparently now old-fashioned, British style chips (potatoes, fried in oil, that's all) to whatever you call these new "fries" that seem to be coated in something, and this something is already seasoned, usually too seasoned...not a fan (rant over). Halibut was good, panko coating was nice and crispy but again too salty, overpowering the fish, same with fried prawns. Excellent, dilly tartar sauce but nowhere near enough horseradish in the cocktail sauce."

"Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The halibut was fried to perfection and was light and flaky. The French fries were crispy. Everything tasted fresh. 10/10. Also the customer service was superb. Very friendly and nice service."

"Not from the area, but my friends and I were visiting the town. Due to the limited options given, we went to LoCo Fish. The food truck was located next to a gas station with outdoor tables to dine at. Parking is available with about 5-6 slots to park at. Despite just two people working, I’d give them credit to holding the business together. I ordered the wagyu burger with fries. With the price of being it at $14, that’s pretty cheap from where I’m at. Fries were crispy and wagyu burger was alright. I enjoyed my time visiting but thanks for a good time to check the destination out. Won’t be back till another trip out."

"LoCo Fish Co. in McKinleyville is great quality seafood. We tried the fish and chips; the fish was cooked just right and the chips were crisp. The shrimp tacos were flavorful and well-balanced. Service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were fair for the portion sizes. A satisfying and convenient option for a family meal."

"So I had the halibut and chips,special of the day. 2 large pieces of halibut coleslaw and french fries. I would have gave 5 stars but the halibut was overdone and the breading is way too thick. It had good flavor tho. The french fries same way over done in old grease maybe. I dont know. The tatar sauce 1 of the best i have had. The coleslaw better than most. I dont know why people dont try craisins in coleslaw sweeten it up a bit. Thanks i be back to try a burger at a different time."
