"Lena and charlye were AMAZING. Lena works SO well with my daughter’s long curly hair. There was no tugging on my kid’s hair or discomfort. She showed my daughter what she was doing so she could have an opinion and checked on her to make sure the water wasn't too hot, if she was okay, etc. Charlye did the most amazing braids! She did perfect tight french braids for my daughter. She would always check on her to see if she wasn’t tugging on her hair. Overall, The service was AMAZING and Lena and Charlye were nice, and funny. It was also SUPER AFFORDABLE! 10/10 recommend!!!"
"Kara is amazing! Every time I go in there I leave so happy and refreshed. She is great at listening to what you want and being on the same page and is very talented. I have very course, thick hair and she knows exactly how to cut it so that it lays perfectly. My kids love her as well. If you are wanting a cut or color she does amazing work!"
"Allison is AMAZING! I gave her a rough idea of what I wanted and she brought that idea to life flawlessly. Turned out exactly how I wanted it! Also she does a fantastic job at educating her clients and helped me learn things about hair that I never knew before! I could not recommend enough!"
"Update 2.11 - The sweet owner called me to apologize for the incident and offered to do whatever it took to make the situation right. She said she was out of town and that the situation was not handled how she instructed and this is not how she conducts business. I did feel better knowing that she seemed to genuinely care about how her customers are treated and the reputation of the salon. Again, since there are so many great reviews, it seems like this could be a one-off incident. She offered a full refund but I told her to charge me for the trim and an all-over color, and the stylist could keep the tip already paid. New to the area and visited this past Saturday. I asked for all over color and balayage, the pinterest pic below is what I asked for. The other 2 pics are what I got, clearly not even close. I was there for over 2 hours, paid over $200 and left a 20% tip. My hair was still pretty wet when I left, so I went home, dried it, and tried not to freak out. I called Monday morning (closed Sundays) and explained that I wasn't happy at all, it wasn't what I asked for, and it needed to be fixed. The receptionist was nice enough and said 'of course, we want you to be happy with your hair, let's get you back in. Sometimes it takes a few takes to be blonde enough or whatever.' I explained that it was all dark brown with red undertones, no blonde, and that the balayage was too bright and looked horrible. I told her at this point let's keep it simple, I just want it all colored the same shade she had done my roots. She said no problem, we will get it fixed! I went in on Wednesday and they tried to charge me another $54 to fix it! I explained that I wasn't expecting to pay to fix it since it clearly wasn't what I asked for or paid for. They went on to say that the receptionist didn't tell me it would be free of charge, so I should pay. I offered to show the manager on duty the pics of what I asked for and what it looked like when I came in. She went on to say that sometimes, the receptionist doesn't understand the issue and it was a miscommunication on the receptionists' part, and that I should at least pay for the tube of color, about $20. I had a $20 bill already out (I was still planning to tip the colorist before all this happened) so I put it on the desk and walked out. Extremely disappointed in the unprofessional manner this was handled - had they handled appropriately, I might have returned for routine all-over color."
