"Kim Is very good. We always go to her."
"Walked in to try to get my hair done and they brought the stylist out and she took one look at my hair, began to chuckle and informed me that she didn't know how to do my hair and so i was turned away. I'm black and just wanted a wash and style. :( #Goodlettsville"
"Kim is the absolute best. She has been doing (fixing) my hair for 15 years"
"I initially requested a wash, silk press, and cut when I called to book. I got my hair done on 10/24. My appointment was at 2:30, but I checked in around 2:15ish. My appointment was booked with Candace, and I had no idea who she was or what she looked like because she never came to greet me. Finally she acknowledges me after she ran 30 minutes over my appointment asking what kind of style was I getting? I showed her the picture, and then I noticed that she had someone sitting in her chair overlapping my appointment time....TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL not even an apology. She told me to come back so she could wash my hair while the other woman was still waiting for her to wet the ends of her box braids. Once she shampooed my hair she told me to sit in the next chair, and I sat there for another 20 minutes while she chatted with her other client on my time in the process of dipping her ends. When she was doing my hair she, and I had somewhat of general conversation while she also engaged in conversation with another stylist. I guess she felt comfortable enough to say certain things in front of me which I thought nothing of, and just carried on. Once she was done styling my hair she began to take the cape off. I was baffled, and asked her, "What about my cut?" I also asked, "Did my ends atleast need to be trimmed?" She told me, "No because my hair was healthy." At checkout I was charged the full $100 eventhough I never received a cut, and I tipped her. How crooked to charge me for a service that I never received. It didn't dawn on me until a few days later that she overcharged me because I had actually booked an appointment for my daughter that following Saturday at 1:30 PM for the same price. My daughter, and I arrived to her appointment at 1:10 PM only for me to see that Candace had just started on someone else's head. It appeared that she was getting the two strand twist with her natural hair. We sat for over an hour, and Candace not one time came over to greet my daughter or apologize for once again being unprofessional. Another customer came in, and wanted to book so Candace proceeded to schedule her at the front counter. In the process of talking to my daughter I let a curse word slip out, and Candace instead of servicing the customer at the front counter felt the need to look at me sideways while saying, "Language" as if she was trying to put me in check. I guess she expected for me to be quiet due to other people being present. I looked at her, and asked, "Who's listening, and who's business was it?" She responded by saying, " I can hear you." I told her, " It's called eeaves dropping, and who cares?" Instead of worrying about a conversation with my daughter she should've been a woman of integrity/profession, and acknowledged that she was in the wrong. My daughter was so uncomfortable until she wanted to leave. Upon walking out I told her, "To cancel the appointment because she was unprofessional from the start." She not one time tried to rectify the situation just responded by saying, "Okay I will, and even tried to dismiss me by saying, "Have a good day." I immediately shut her down, and told her to ,"Stop talking to me", because for the sake of my daughter she was spared being cursed out for her disrespect after how we were treated!"
"I love this little salon. Deborah is just the best. When I asked her not to cut much off of the length because i'm trying to let it grow longer...she did exactly what I asked"
