"I went last Wednesday after work and by FRIDAY my gel was already beginning to lift/chip. Paid around 50 bucks (including tip). What a waste! No change of habits, did nothing different. Should have listened to the warning from others saying the same thing. Also, felt super rushed and not relaxed. Shame, because I live so close by but I’ll be going elsewhere to get my mani/pedis from now on."

"I had a manicure emergency and called five salons asking for help so that my fingers and toes didn't look horrible for my Brother's funeral finally I called gloss nail salon on Highland they were due to close in 30 minutes common Ted answer the phone listen to my story he told me for sure come right in they would help me. I arrived 30 minutes before closing and they're the most Pleasant people ever. They went out of their way to help me to make sure I wasn't stressed out for my Brother's funeral. WI did my nails for me. He did an awesome job fixing the mess that my nails and toes were and I'm so very grateful. You do not understand how much this means to us when other salons just don't have the time of day to even care. Whoever owns this company you need to give them all a raise."

"If I could give this location 10 starts I would. Ted the manager is an AMAZING person. Oscar did my nails and I loved them. I’ve been a loyal customer to Gloss nail bar for over 4 years and I always leave happy. Definitely give them a try you and will not regret."

"I have been to the Highland and Crosstown locations, and typically I am happy with my nails, customer service, and the overall vibe. I went in today to get a fill at the Highland location, and picked out a color (DNC Hard Pink) and whatever he polished them with is orange, and not even remotely close to what I asked for. I asked him about it and he said it is "pinkish." I should have asked him to repaint them with the color that I chose, but I didn't feel comfortable - he should have been the one to offer to repaint them for me once I showed him that the color is not the same as the one I picked out. Also, he didn't even polish them up to my cuticle, so it already looks like I need another fill (I can't but help that this is a way to get me to come back quicker and spend more money). I also do not like that they started to charge for filing your nails down. My nails are not long, but when I wait 2.5 weeks in between getting them done, they are going to grow. I do not see what is covered within the $30 for a fill if it doesn't include filing and shaping them. (He didn't charge the additional fee to file mine today, however, but they have in the past.) I edited this a week after to show how badly they look after ONE week."
