"Very nice. Shots didn’t hurt at all. I asked if he had given me a shot and he said he had then I could feel my jaw getting numb. First time I had had a shot at the dentist that didn’t hurt."
"Hospitality was great They took good care of removing my tooth"
"I have always loved Dr Hunley and his staff. I have never had any problems with them or any of the procedures I have had to have here. Also my son went here from the 1st time he visited the dentist. He NEVER was worried or scared. We both enjoy getting our teeth cleaned. The staff has always been nothing short of wonderful. When Mom passed away, they were so kind and caring. They gave me the picture out of her file rather than throw it away. I can not tell you how touched I was by this gesture. I can not say enough good about Dr. Hunley and his staff. We always have received A++ treatment."
"I don't normally like to post bad reviews. For the most part the people working here, including Dr. Hunley are very nice people, and I don't like to hurt people’s livelihoods, but I can't recommend this dentist for anything other than just cleanings and other simple things. The first thing you'll notice is that they have multiple TV's with the volume up loud and tuned to daytime soap operas. Very annoying. I went here to have both of my back two teeth on the bottom (one in front of the other) crowned in October. When they put on the temporaries they weren't sealed good and I had terrible pain in the teeth when I ate cold/hot/sweet foods and it got on the roots. I went in several times, and they sealed and/ or re-applied them. I continually had the same issues, it either hurt/ached because the roots were exposed, or the cap would come off. They just couldn’t seem to get the roots covered. Later on about 2 months later I went to get the permanents, but they had to send them back because they didn't fit. So they put the temporaries back on and ordered 2 more permanents. When those came in, they put them on, and they didn't fit, so the dentist ground them down until they finally fit, and sent me on my way. The one in the back was ground down to the point that you could see the metal. I immediately began having pain again in the one in the front, and went back in. He determined that the permanent on the front one needed to come off and be re-applied. He numbed me, but this tore my mouth up and when the shot wore off my mouth was extremely sore and raw from the procedure. The one in the back was doing “ok” despite the metal showing, but still was very sensitive because even though it was better than the one in the front, it was still note fitting correctly and it hurt to brush it due to exposed roots. During this time when they had the temporary on the front and I was waiting for the replacement permanent crown, the temporary came off again. At this point I had had enough, it had been around 5 months, and I had zero confidence that he could fix anything to do with these crowns. I asked for a refund, and went to a different dentist. To their credit, they did give me a refund for that crown, the one in the front, which allowed me to use my insurance to go try to get it fixed properly by my new dentist, but they were unable to seat it properly due to the one in the back being shaped incorrectly. The back on was the one that had the metal showing and they were shocked that a dentist would leave a crown like that, and act like it was acceptable. At this point it was evident that we would have to have the back crown removed and replaced to make them both fit. I called Dr. Hunley’s people up and told them I was going to need a refund for the back crown also, because A: The new dentist couldn’t properly seat the crown in the front because of the shape of the one in the back, and B: because they left it with metal showing which the dentist knew full well he should have never done. Well, they refused to refund that one. They said that it was “normal for metal crowns to be adjusted to the point of making the metal visible.” Whether this is true or not, they didn’t mention the fact that the other dentist stated they couldn’t place the front crown properly because the one in the back was not shaped properly. I had to pay out of pocket for the one in the back to be removed and replaced. I would not have felt the need to post this if they had refunded both of the crowns and admitted the hassle and pain they put me through, but they felt compelled to keep the money for one of them, and it cost me a lot to pay for another to fix their mess. I could have gone on and fought with them about it and pursued it further, but we had the money to just pay for it, and honestly after months of pain and visits to the dentist office, there comes a point where you just have to give up and go get it done somewhere else. I just hope this review will help someone else avoid the pain and loss of time and money that I had to experience. Go elsewhere!!"
