"I don't like doing this but it needs to been done for others to read especially Vets under VA healthcare. About a month back I had a cleaning done and a molar was hurting and Dr. Fleck said I should consider a root canal. So I got in touch with the VA community care and they set up an appointment for an X-ray. I had the X-ray and then was scheduled for a root canal with Fountain City Endoscopy. Around that time I got a letter from the VA financial office in TX and it stated that someone in this clinic has put in the wrong reference code. Anyway that was taken care of but after I had the root canal I was scheduled for the crown the following week and the day before I get a phone call from the office saying the VA has not yet authorized a new reference code for the crown, she also said she had been trying to get in touch with CC and no one was answering or returning her calls. By this time I was over Appalachian Dental not just for this reason but also for two voicemails I left with no return call back to me. The first was around September I left a message saying my molar was hurting and the second voicemail was for a refill for amoxicillin before I got my crown, the reason this is the most important one is because I had a hip replacement 5 years ago from where I was injured overseas, you would think this would be something very important but then again no return call nor was the medicine refilled, luckily the Endodontist had me a prescription filled. Let me go back to the phone call concerning the crown, I told the lady I was over the way they were handling things, so after getting off the phone with her I called my old dentist in Clinton and told the office manager what was going on and she told me she would call and talk to CC and get me an appointment, guess what in less than 24 hours she called me back and said she had got in touch with Brianna at CC and would have me scheduled by the end of the week. I got a phone call just a few minutes ago with an appointment for the crown. So my fellow Vets be leary of this place if your not in their system already. Also I even told Dr. Fleck about the first message I left not being returned and she told me she'd let her boss know."
"Do not waste your time going here. My fiancé went for an exam, she didn’t look at his mouth for even 5 minutes then acted like there was nothing she could do because he was “apprehensive.” Yes he was nervous because he has had bad experiences with dentists in the past, but she had no personality, wasn’t very friendly, and she wasn’t helpful at all. She’s not very professional. In my opinion she sucks."
"Nothing good to say about this place. They screwed up on my wife’s crown multiple times. Wanted to charge her again on the third visit to fix it, she refused and left. Now they’re sending a bill for missing an appointment she attended. Do yourself a favor… find a different dentist office. This place doesn’t deserve your business."
"I miss the old dentist! The new dentist really acts like she can't be bothered to be there. She doesn't really give good information. She doesn't believe in adequate pain management. When you have an infected tooth, it hurts and it takes a couple days for antibiotics to kick in. But it doesn't matter here. Then when they pull your tooth, because it got infected after a root canal that they performed, they will not give you anything not even a day script for pain management. So make sure with any procedure here you take a couple days of work to recover and cry."
"They don''t tell the truth. They took xrays of my wife's teeth charged her $143 then told her to wait for three weeks for insurance approval. Three weeks went by. Called the office wait another week. Insurance said they had the approval almost immediately a month ago. They are so unprofessional . They cannot be trusted."
