"Absolutely loved this dentist (as well as the hygienist, Anne) until they cancelled my appointment that I’d made because I had a spam blocker on my phone and didn’t confirm via text. I was switching jobs, so my insurance was about to change and I wanted to get a cleaning before that happened. I was understandably upset that my appointment was cancelled (I mean-I made the appointment and didn’t cancel it myself-I think this policy is 100% not ok). Id also been to this dentist for three cleanings previously and do not remember this ever being a policy or having to confirm via text. I tried to reschedule months later, made sure to confirm my appointment via text and they called the DAY before my appointment to tell me I was “dismissed from the system”. This is incredibly poor customer service and I feel that it does not reflect the dentist or the hygienists, but the receptionist (or whoever answers the phones) needs an attitude check. This isn’t like a dinner reservation-it’s someone’s health. For the first time in my adult life I found a dentist that I liked and was literally “dismissed” as a patient. Very disappointing. Im not saying the dentist and hygienists aren’t great-but make sure you confirm via text otherwise they will cancel your appointment and show zero empathy for any situation."
