"Me and my family love this place! From the quaint homey feel. To the amazing tamales and sides. To the extremely nice staff. It is always a great experience. We also love their fairly large unique drink cooler that has something we can all enjoy. We also love that they have Tamales for the meat and non meat eaters. It's the one place we always stop for a visit when downtown. Highly recommend!"

"I will quickly say that the food is delicious. Tamales are quite authentic in flavor and texture and the beans and rice are delicious. Tried three of the veg tamales and we were very happy. That being said, the service is AWESOME. Katy was super helpful and kind from the get go. Got me a cpl extra bowls and spoons for my kids to be able to eat on the road. Mind you it has been raining since we got here and my kids were waiting in the car. As I'm in the car preparing food for everyone to eat as I drive the weather picks up and I get a severe weather alert for 80 mile an hour winds. I look up and out off the windshield and the wind and rain was so crazy I could barely see 10-15 get on front of me. I did as the alert told me and took my kids into the building where Katy proceeded to bring us plates and some towels to dry up. A wonderful customer helped me calm down my kids by distracting them. Katy really was amazing and so helpful today. Any time I'm ever driving through Knoxville I will be stopping and having my tamale at Good Golly."
