"Great little neighborhood bar with local and other taps, plus a good bourbon selection. I was there in my professional capacity so I didn't get to eat or imbibe but now that I know the place isn't just a three beer joint, I'll go back with my wife and in law group. Seems like one of those places that "everybody knows your name"... great looking, clean and cozy. Met the owner, who's a really great guy. I look forward to going back off duty."
"I'm not one for pimento cheese, but their pimento cheese pretzels were yummy. I've thought about going back a few times to get more. Peaceful patio for a quiet date. Several tasty beers to try out."
"David, Kevin and Terri are such awesome owners!! Recently visited from NJ. The beers and bourbon were on point! Great vibes!!! If we ever return to Memphis, we will be back! Highly recommend!!!!"
"I was googling for craft beer in Memphis and glad this placed showed up in the search. I passed by the place and already felt that this would be a good place to hangout while waiting for my father. I was like a kid in a candy store. Happy to have enough options, a mix of NEIPAs, Session IPAs, a stout and even beers inspired by the geologists Hutton & Smith. The vibe was relaxed. I would definitely go back again."
"When I visit a city, I always research anything local. For beer, it's really important to me to seek out local breweries and taprooms that support and showcase them. Hammer and ale hit the mark dead on. I didn't get a count while I was there, but there were at least 20+ local/regional beers on tap. I allowed who I assume was the owner assemble a 6 beer flight for me and he provided a great selection. This a cozy nook of a space with a great spacious and casual patio right in the street of a hip neighborhood. I am certainly hoping to get back there before I leave in a few days. Thanks for having me!!"
