"Thursday was our first time visiting the rooftop bar at the Shelby Trio. After visiting a couple of other spots in downtown Clarksville, we decided we decided on a nightcap at the Skyline 500. When we got there around 9pm there were only 8 other customers there. I love the layout and design of the inside area, with the bar being right as you enter after getting off of the elevator. A security person and one bartender were the only employees there, and they were both quite nice. As a huge fan of outside and rooftop bars there were 3 things that kept this getting 5 stars. 1 - The alcohol and beer selections were quite limited. I did expect more options from an upscale establishment. 2 - The outdoor area was definitely smaller than I expected. It's not tiny by any means, but assumed there would be more outside seating to enjoy the great rooftop views. 3 - There is no bar access on the outside rooftop. You have to go back inside, to the opposite side of the bar, to get additional drinks. Perhaps on busier nights there are servers so you can remain outside. Other than that, I enjoyed my visit and love the Shelby's Trio concept. I'll be back."
