Reviews
"Not only is this a Walgreens, but it's a Kroger convenience store too. Great for out of towners that need something quick to make for dinner and you don't know where grocery stores are in a college town setting. Bums are present in the area, but isn't that anywhere you go in a city? I'm so glad we saw this place while driving. Walgreens needs to open more locations like this."
"Kara and the staff at this Walgreens location are by far the best team at any pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Ignore the negative Google reviews from the pampered children that frequent this place. They have yet to realize being a grown up is hard. I am a UT student as well but don't expect the world handed to me on silver platter with a brand new car I didn't earn. Kara and her team do a fantastic job and work their tails off to care for all their customers even when the customers don't appreciate them. I will fill my prescriptions here for as long as I work downtown and go to UTK."
"They take a 2 hour lunch break every day (I waited till 3 pm for them to answer the phone) and pharmacy is closed on the weekend So if you get your script refilled on a Friday and can’t get it between 9-1 or 3-7 pm, you can’t get it till Monday. Nobody is in the pharmacy over the weekend to answer the phone and transfer your script either. Not a good way to run a business to have people waiting up to 3 days for scripts they literally need"
"Don't listen to the entitled college kids in these other reviews; this Walgreens is sincerely incredible. I had a major issue with a prescription that they bent over backwards to help me with. This location is always clean, and there's even parking on the strip; incredible. I can't say enough nice things about this place, unlike the children in these other reviews that are having to deal with their parents no longer picking up their medicine for the first time."
"I think there were bugs on the floor. Some of the food good were expired. I thought I could swing by and get some fresh milk and I couldn’t. The overwhelming smell of nicotine at the cashier counter could have knocked me over. Nothing was in place. There were multiple people on the floor. One manager in a grey outfit with a bob that completely neglected to help me even when I specified the item in question. The other floor girl walked around lacksadaisy and held no attention to customers or her supervisor. The back talk between staff and customer was appalling. I don’t want to go back. I want to tell every single individual on campus that I don’t want them going there. I don’t know how to properly display my disgust with such rude and egotistical staff nor do I want to go to this Walgreens again. I can’t swear off the brand forsake of holiday goods but I refuse to pay three times the Kingston Pike price for goods. Disappointed. Dissatisfied. Angered and frustrated. Not a place I want to pop in and out of anymore."
