"Got us to shop there again by offering $5.00 off coupon on a $25.00 purchase. Spent the $$$ and, when it didn't come off the total, we were told it was only on Thursday. Nothing like that noted on the coupon. Never frequenting this business again. They were already in trouble after the DC issues that made the news. This is no way to keep customer base."

"The parking lot is dirty. Inside the store is dirty. Alot of the shelves are not stock. Absolutely aweful. The girl cashier girl talking on her phone to a boy on speaker phone...so unprofessional!!!!"

"This store is horrible an employees are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.. My girlfriend entered the store Friday on lunch break an the guy told her he was locking the door an nobody was getting out until he rung everyone up. He stated he wasn't gonna keep running to door. So she was rudely let out the door an told she could leave now an try again tommmow to make her purchase. SAD PERSON WHO NEEDS A HUG AND MANNERS. WE Won't BE Shopping here Again.... Sad cause we try to support our community and neighborhood stores first."

"Very poor customer service I went here at 9:30 p.m. and the young lady told me they were closed I was shocked because any family dollar I usually go to when I get off still be open until 9:50 or 10 pm although I was upset because all I wanted was 3 cans of dog food I left and went to another family dollar they had very great customer service on east raines rd they were still open and I was able to get what I wanted in a timely fashion The young lady at the register was very nice and greeted me I will not shop at the family dollar at shelby drive anymore I will not waste my time I'm going to other locations from now on."

"This place like most of the Family Dollars in this area was trashed. Hardly anything on the shelves. I was at the door at 8:05am because I know they usually run late. Not matter if it’s this store, Raines, or Hickory Hill they just can’t get there on time. After I stand at the door for a few minutes. I realize Kenyata is just doing paperwork at the register. I knock. She rolls her eyes and opens the door. No greeting. Just silence and attitude. Like how dare I interrupt her. Smh. Then of course the store is a wreck. I open the case to get my own diapers. There is an inch of dust a debris on and under the shelves. Just gross. And Ms. Kenyata can’t be bothered to end her very loud and very personal conversation with a friend about her messy family. She finally realized I wasn’t going to read her register and told me my total. It’s sad. It’s seems like you all need to clean house in a literal way. Staff and store. It’s a shame it took me longer to get my 2 items than it took me to drive to the store. Tried to contact corporate. They make that nearly impossible. I am left to assume they approve of this slack behavior and treatment of their name and product. Probably why nearly 400 locations will close this year. I’ll be taking my business to Dollar General from now on. ✌️"
