Kroger 2131 Abbott Martin Road, Nashville, TN 37215

"This is the worst Kroger I've ever been to. Keep in mind it's located in the heart of upscale Green Hills. I brought cookies to the self checkout and asked the attendees why it was ringing up for double the sale price posted. The attendee was rude and said, "go take a picture of the sale price." I actually walked all the way back and took a picture. That resolved nothing. She began to argue loudly that I needed to match the barcode#s with the item. I reminded her that I don't work here or stick shelves. She gets store manager Gwen and I'm thinking, at last! Someone who will make sense and speak sensibly! (*see attached pics) WRONG. Gwen is worse. She walks with me back to the cookie aisle (for a 3rd time) and proceeds to tell me that what's advertised for sale on the posted sign is no longer there and it's clearly obvious to any shoppers that what's advertised on the yellow sale sign applies to something that one was in the now empty plastic shelf, not the cookies. Unbelievable that they train management and regular employees to argue prices with customers and maintain a nasty attitude instead of treating customers with a smile and respect. Lots of actually pleasant, helpful employees just a few blocks away at Whole Foods."

"Very frustrated I was made to feel like a second citizen I cannot read enough to use yourself check out machines I always go to a checkstand the lady at the self-checkout was rude and made me feel less than. I let her know that I could not read and asked her if she could me. Having a disability and not being able to read the self-checkout kiosks is very humiliating and it's about time Kroger staffed their checkout stands or at very least put a very kind person there not somebody that makes you feel terrible!! 4:45PM 01-15-2024"

"Kroger has its place for your Nashville grocery menu. I use it as my pharmacy, which is really good and very affordable. But also it offers products in the grocery itself which you can’t really get anywhere else. It is not my first choice for a grocery, but it is one I go to time and time again."

"Sale prices never ring up correctly. Then you have to wait for customer service (see other reviews for how fun that is) and they put the money back on your card."

"The prices are great but the selection often looks picked over and the check out experience is awful! There is only ever one lane open with a cashier. And, the self checkout system is defunct. It takes longer to check out than to shop. Even though this store is close to my home, I often choose to go elsewhere because the checkout experience is so terrible. To be fair, the folks working the checkout are working hard and they can and are mostly very friendly, it is just that the system is awful and there are not enough employees to service the customers."
