"Great customer service this am before heading to airport! Mgr Josh and team went ‘above and beyond’. Been a great place for a night cap and watching the Vols! Thank u! Will be back!"
"Service was good. The chicken salad sandwich was generally sized and pretty good. Fries were the battered kind and very crispy. Prices were quite decent for a hotel bar/ restaurant. Lobby right outside is a big and convenient place to wait or relax in for a bit. Lots of couches, some tables, and plenty of outlets"
"Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere! Staff was very friendly and made great suggestions. We got fried green tomatoes and I got the blackened salmon! Both amazing."
"A great collection of crafts by skilled local makers. Some beautiful pieces of work that might be easily overlooked unless you're looking for it between the Marriott and Tennessean Hotels on Henley St. Most pieces are in the lower lobby of the Marriott displayed in glass cases."
"The Tavern at the Makers Exchange is brand new and not *officially, officially* open but the food and service are OUTSTANDING. I found it by accident while looking for a dining alternative to the convention center concessions. The prices are reasonable and to-go service was speedy. I ordered the short stack cornmeal pancakes with warm fruit compote and the deviled eggs with sherry cream and a sweet-sour bacon jam. My bill, before tip was $18... And a value for Sunday brunch downtown/convention center-area prices. OH! And the art by local artists in the surrounding space is a highlight. I would happily spend a cozy evening in front of the giant, modern fireplace sipping a cocktail and knitting. Keep up the FIERCE work!"
