"Overall: Fantastic bbq food with friendly staff dedicated to ensuring you enjoy your experience. Healthy portions but extremely small indoor area without a public restroom and prices of 15$ per person roughly including drinks. Staff asked me 3 times if I wanted other things off the menu. The second one I accepted. They only have brisket on specials so it's not every day you can order it. The kitchen is clean and so is the lobby. It's run by a friendly couple who care about your experience. Great barbecue food. My wife said "it's the best bbq she's had in a while"."

"Amazing destination for all food / bbq connoisseurs! Drove 45 minutes, was absolutely worth it! Craig and Lisa treat every customer like gold. Ate the Saturday special with the house Mac n’ cheese…almost bit my finger off! Highly recommend the pecan pie & white chocolate banana pudding. If you are anywhere close to the Nashville area, this restaurant is a 100% must go to destination. They have their own rubs & sauces (if you’re a pepper head try “The Truth” rub and “The Dark Truth” sauce)."

"This may literally be the best food in Mount Juliet! Small (2 tables) and slow, not "fast food", but worth waiting for. Cooked to order burgers and sandwiches (not the ribs or chicken). No junk food with sides, real quality. The Ruben Pretzel Burger is awesome, 2 burger parties and slice of brisket (limited time, not on regular menu)."

"Finally a BBQ spot that offers a side order of ribs! The ribs were amazing btw. We were passing through Mt. Juliet and decided to try The Candied Rib Company, and we'll definitely be back whenever we're in town. The menu is robust, including a special. The sauces we tried (they have many) were unique and tasty. Besides a side of baby backs, we had the chopped beef and pulled pork and would recommend both. The prices were reasonable, the portions generous, and the owners were lovely people. I have a feeling they'll need a bigger spot soon enough. Stop in, you won't regret it!"

"Stopped in here on Saturday and absolutely fell in love with the ribs. The sticky and dry options(I ordered both because I'm horrible) were phenomenal. Also ordered a shrimp skewer, banana pudding, sweet potato, and slaw. I promised I'd return next day if I didn't have a stroke to try their burger, and lieu behold I was able to down two burgers in a row. Easily the best I have ever had (clearly). Craig and Lisa, the owners were so much fun to talk to even as they put up with my ridiculous orders. I've never been to a place that deserves their 5 star rating as much as these two."
