"Called them on the phone looking for a part for my refrigerator. They had the part in stock. A simple relay and gone bad on my fridge, and the man there ended up giving it to me instead of upselling me on the entire kit. Awesome, caring people. I now know who to call when I have a problem in the future."
"Hate to write this because I've heard so many good things about this company. Bought a washer dryer set. Has 90 day warranty. The dryer stops working on day 86. I call and they say it's an in house only warranty meaning I had to bring it to them for them to fix it and that it's listed everywhere in the showroom. That sounds CRAZY especially since they normally do paid house calls for repairs whether you purchase an appliance from there or not, but fine... Maybe I didn't see it posted. I politely tell them that I paid for delivery in the first place bc I didn't have a way to pick it up myself. And ask if I can pay a trip charge and have them come to my house and repair it. They agree and set a date. They ask me to call back sometime before the actual repair date with the model number so that the tech can grap the right parts. I call back a few days later, and the woman was just like "yeah we've cancelled all of our house calls because our tech had to go on medical leave. I truly hate that for their tech and hope he feels better .. at the same time, she didn't apologize, they didn't reach out to me and tell me that it was cancelled, I only found out because I called them back... And they didn't offer another solution. This has been such a poor custom doeer service experience. Also, I am pretty handy, so I buy a kit to fix it myself since they've washed their hands of the matter... I disassemble the dryer, and literally NOTHING has been cleaned or refurbished. It's like they plugged it in, it worked, and they just put it directly on the floor and sold it without checking anything else. If you only have a $200-$300 dollars for an appliance this place may get you through, but the quality of customer service and the products they sell are inconsistent at BEST."
"I purchased the most expensive used dryer based off of the sales persons suggestion about the newer, nicer option would last longer and be reliable. After bringing it home I found it takes 3 hours to dry anything in it. When I called to let them know, they said if it is drying at all its working and the vents must be clogged. Cleaned the vents and ensured that the system was fully clear. Still took 3 hours to dry. Called back to tell them that didn't work. They were very short with me and said if I brought it back in and they would look at it. So they want me rent a trailer and spend half a day to bring back a faulty unit instead of coming out to look at it. Waste of $400 and my time. I should have gone to the Good As New store like I've done in the past. They actually provide service and support after the sale. Hunley Turner employees are polite and helpful when purchasing something but do not believe in putting in any extra effort when their products are faulty."
"I bought a nice fridge, a washer and a dryer, the fridge was super nice and the dryer too.. I did have an issue with the washer not wanting to fill up, even on “deep water wash” setting half of the clothes are sticking out of the washer not being washed, they sent someone out who said “that’s normal… but that’ll be $80 for the service call” so I’ve been using a 2 gallon bucket to fill it up once it’s done filling for the last few years, so maybe they’d take concerns seriously in a more obvious case of an appliance being broken, or maybe not. Overall I still recommend them I just don’t have a way to prove how full it’s supposed to be aside from common sense."
"Great place to buy pre-owned appliances and new appliance parts. They have a longstanding trust from the community for service excellence in the home or at their shop. I highly recommend them for appliances or appliance repair."
