"Carne Mare offers a decent dining experience with a mix of positives and areas for improvement. The ambiance is pleasant and inviting however the steaks at Carne Mare were good but fell short of being exceptional. While tasty, they lacked the wow factor expected."

"We came to Carne Mare to celebrate Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very calm, soothing and romantic. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Our waitress Macy suggested some great food options and had such a down to earth personality. She was fantastic! I also have to shout out Noah who brought the food to the table. He was very nice and explained the food in a way that made us even more excited to eat what was in front of us. Our overall experience was fantastic and we will definitely come back the next time we visit Nashville."

"I’ve eaten here countless times and I am ashamed that I’ve never reviewed this place. The patio is beautiful and offers a warm comfort with the heaters during the cooler months. I’ve always found the inside of this restaurant to be very mellow and refreshing. The atmosphere really makes you feel relaxed with the way it is designed. I’ve never loved pasta more than the pasta I’ve had here. I would put this on my Nashville favorite bingo card every time. The short rib ravioli is 10/10. Perfectly cooked pasta every single time. Lastly, do not skip the panna cotta dessert. It’s a velvety, lush flavor that I can never pass up when I’m here."

"Truly an amazing experience. From service, drinks, and food, just great. We decided to check them out for a birthday celebration and it did not disappoint. Drinks (Old Fashined, Cosmopolitan) were great. Food was well-seasoned, taste was amazing, and portions were just right. Their wagyu steak is the bomb."

"The food was phenomenal, we ordered the tomahawk steak for 2 and it was a lot. Didn’t realise the arugula would be a full salad so having the mushroom as well was too much. The steak was dry aged for 30 days so it had a rich foie gras-like taste, and the meat was very tender. Probably best steak I’ve had. Octopus starter was nice and I would definitely recommend getting the chocolate cake. The cocktails were disappointing so I wouldn’t bother. Service was average, not very attentive and had to wait 15-20 minutes even with a reservation. The food was a home run though so I had to give it 5 stars."
