Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

"We normally love coming here but this visit was the most gross I've ever seen the inside get. It was mid afternoon past lunch rush. No reason for someone to not clean up the dining room! Not any attempt was made while we were there. Large sticky floors, every table was not wiped and sticky and food under every table not swept and even the sides of the booths and walls were dirty and sticky. Same with drink areas. Was disappointing to see this. We ate for a few but decided to box it up and go eat in the car. A rag and a Clean mop would go a long way today."

"Food was solid, had the veggie burger. Love the frys and the chocolate shake was delicious. Order person was friendly and efficient."

"We tried this while out of town. After we ordered and paid in the drive thru, the attendant informed us they were out of spoons… which was problematic because our kids had just ordered ice cream cups. I politely asked how we were supposed to eat the ice cream and she suggested forks. I found it pretty frustrating that a place would sell something it could not adequately provide utensils for… At the very least, mention this before someone pays for it. We could have easily switched to cones! I did ask to speak to a manager. The 2:30 PM manager was extremely rude and did not offer anything to make the situation better. She actually just made it worse by throwing off attitude and stating “we haven’t had time to purchase spoons.” I’m sorry… go buy some spoons! Strangely enough she “magically” produced two spoons - not in the wrapper (like the other utensils) and handed them to us. Needless to say, we did not use said spoons because, given the awful customer, I’d say those spoons were not handled in a sanitary way. I was extremely disappointed in how they chose to handle the situation. A simple “we’re sorry” and even a token coupon or gift card would have been acceptable. There’s always room to make a customer happy. Freddy’s in Smyrna definitely missed the boat on that one!"

"Food was great. The burger I got was the double bacon cheeseburger and it was great. If you like other smash style burgers with crispy edge and good flavor then you'll love these burgers and I also love that they put pickle spears slices on the burgers not dill chips. I got the cheese curds and they were great as well. My daughter got the tenders and she said they were well you know dad tenders are tenders so I had to try them and they were pretty good. The fries are very thinly sliced fries but cooked perfectly. They also have shakes and concrete blended Custard. Overall it was very good and will definitely go back."

"UPDATE: Well Freddy’s has redeemed themselves. I went back after they reached out to me about my initial review. This time I ordered the California Style burger. The customer service was great, and the burger was on point. The burger was well prepared and cooked and had good seasoning. ———————————————————————— OLD REVIEW: I saw the big lines on the drive thru and thought it would be worth it. Honestly, the Burger was not what I expected. I think I could do better making one at home. The meat was not thick at all and it really lacked flavor. The fries are extremely thin. There customer service was not all that great, no greeting etc."
