"We went with a large group of friends. Altogether it was a fun night, the service was very good, and the bar food, although nothing fancy, was still good and well selected to pair with the ambience of the venue. A pool table that we could reserve to play was also more fun than expected. Unfortunately there was one problem -watered down drinks. Everyone from our group noticed it . Didn't matter what it was, long Island ice tea, whiskey high ball, gin and tonic, you name it - watered down and not tasting right. So... It is a place for wine and beer, but not for drinks."
"Seven of us were seated promptly somewhat near the kitchen. It was quite loud due to music, guests, and hard surface amplification. The menu had selections for all of our fussy eaters. Portions were smaller than expected for the price. I had to return my dish due to a hair, but the manager handled it well. After the next hair showed up, I was done. Maybe I just had the cook who wasn't wearing any hat or beard net. Everyone else enjoyed the quality of their food. Best for the under 40 crowd, perhaps!"
"As soon as we walked in, you could feel the laid-back atmosphere. Music and TV's were going, but not so loud and overbearing you couldn't hear yourself think. We were seated in one of the side rooms. Tables were far enough apart you didn't feel you were sitting on top of each other, and you could have a conversation without yelling at each other. Wait staff was attentive but not overbearing. Drinks were good and, if you come for happy hour Mon-Fri 3 to 7 they have several tasty drinks and appetizers for a great price. We tried the Sheet Tray Nachos and Henhouse tacos. Both portions are enough to share and not feel like you over ate. It was a fantastic first visit, and we will be back!"
"My wife and I enjoy visiting this restaurant every time we visit the Nashville area. We always manage to visit during happy hour (4-7pm). Excellent cocktails and atmosphere. Staff is very helpful in providing recommendations. My wife had the buffalo chicken wrap and found the chicken overly breaded and underwhelming. However, she's had a burger previously and enjoyed it far more. I had the naked burger (bacon & brie burger). They were out of brie so I had goat cheese. It was very good. Looking forward to return again soon."
"I visited the Goat at the suggestion of a friend while in the Murfreesboro area. The restaurant is very open and has an inviting atmosphere. We were seated right away and greeted within about thirty seconds of taking our seats. We had our drinks within a couple of minutes. The waitress was friendly, observant, and engaging. The food was top-notch. It was vary flavorful and rich. The portion sizes looked a little spartan at first but proved to be just right. At no time did I wait for my glass to be filled. The drinks that were had by some of the members of our party had high marks. I would recommend the Goat to any who would ask, and hope to eat there again soon."
