Chuy's

"The food was good and the atmosphere was what you would expect from a Chuy’s. Other than that, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. It was more than just our servers service, whoever is managing this location is doing a terrible job. The issue came when we were seated. If we asked for anything, there was a 50/50 chance that our server brought it to us. The restaurant ran out of chips, glasses, and silverware during our time sitting at our table. We sat with our fully prepared dishes for around five minutes waiting for something to eat them with. No matter how good the food is I would highly recommend eating somewhere else."

"I’m an unabashed fan of Chuy’s. I’ve been eating at Chuy’s for over 30 years, ever since I married into a family from Austin. While I’m a fan, I’m also leery of restaurants when they expand as Chuy’s with over 100 locations now. Will they maintain the culture and uphold standards? This Chuy’s is proof of how rigorously they have protected their brand. I’ve eaten at perhaps a dozen different locations including 3 times now at this Opry Mills restaurant. They do a great job, and the food here tastes just as good as in Austin (where I last ate 2 months ago). We had a large group. (I paid for just 4 out of our 9.) Most of us go for the Chuychanga. Queso is our favorite topper. The tortilla soup is like a bowl of medicine with great veggies & avocado. We love the addition of jalapeño ranch dip several years ago to snack on along with the chips. As always, we had friendly service with hot, excellent food. And the prices are quite reasonable for what you get in return."

"Lovely atmosphere. Went to Chuys for lunch. Darren was our server, he was excellent, very prompt and patient. I had the taco salad with the creamy jalapeños dressing and fajita beef, it was excellent! My mom and aunt had the enchiladas, they thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend chuys after a day of shopping."

The service was okay, and the restaurant's interior had a cool ambiance. However, I won't be returning because the food lacked that special touch and soul.""

"Food is good, but it is not beyond my expectations, just normal Mexican food like what you can get in Chili’s. However, 3 out of 4 of us had mild stomachs after the food especially the free deserts, sorbet. Trash. I give 3 stars for the flavors. Quality of the food is debatable. Service is pretty good. Really honest guy telling us that was enough for us and not to over order stuff."
